Federal contracting compliance reference
The federal contract clause and flow-down reference
MyFCExperts turns the official FAR clause matrix into a plain reference: which provisions, clauses and Alternates apply to a contract type, which flow down to a subcontract, and what changed overnight. Every clause links the regulation it comes from.

The federal clause matrix, clause by clause
Every FAR provision, clause and Alternate is listed with its contract-type applicability, its P-or-C type, the section that prescribes it, and a one-click link to the regulation. Pick a contract type to see what the matrix marks required, as-prescribed and optional — and where a clause carries a flow-down obligation, the prescription that says so is one click away.
This reference covers the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), 48 CFR chapter 1. The Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) is not included, because no official machine-readable DFARS matrix is published. Alternates are listed as their own rows.

What you get
The applicability matrix, from the source
Contract-type grids — fixed-price supply, cost-reimbursement, time-and-materials, construction and more — read from the official acquisition.gov Smart Matrix, never hand-entered.
Flow-down you can check
See which provisions, clauses and Alternates the matrix marks required, as-prescribed or optional for each contract type, with the FAR prescription and a one-click eCFR deep link.
Overnight change tracking
A nightly refresh re-reads the matrix and the clause text. Every page shows its as-of date, and a status endpoint reports freshness so silent staleness is impossible.
How it works
Browse freely
The clause reference is open — search by clause number or by the FAR section that prescribes it, or browse by contract type.
Save your contract profiles
$129 one-time unlocks saved contract profiles and the nightly clause-change feed.
Get the changes
When the matrix or a prescribed clause changes, the feed records it and every page shows its as-of date.
Frequently asked questions
Where does the clause data come from?
The contract-type applicability grid is read from the official acquisition.gov Smart Matrix — the matrix eCFR itself names as authoritative. Clause text, P-or-C type and prescription come from the eCFR API. This reference covers the FAR (48 CFR chapter 1); DFARS is not included because no official machine-readable DFARS matrix is published. Nothing in the grid is hand-entered, and each refresh validates its own parse.
How current is the reference?
It is rebuilt nightly and every page shows the date and time of the last successful refresh. If a refresh fails its parse checks or its freshness window, the page shows a visible staleness notice and /clauses/status.json reports it.
Does MyFCExperts certify that my contract is compliant?
No. It reports what the official matrix says applies at a given contract type, and what a clause says and where it is prescribed. It does not determine whether a particular contract or subcontract is compliant, and nothing here is legal advice.
What does MyFCExperts Clause Access cost?
It is $129 one-time, shown before you pay. The full clause matrix, the contract-type views and every flow-down are free to browse with no account; the membership adds what only a signed-in member gets — saved contract profiles and the nightly clause-change feed for the contract types you pin.
How do I reset my password?
Use the "Forgot your password?" link on the login page. We email a single-use reset link that expires in 60 minutes.
