Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-11-02. Last updated: 2026-11-02.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and GCExperts LLC ("we", "us") governing your use of MyFCExperts at myfcexperts.com ("the Service"), a website about federal contract clause and flow-down determination. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

The Service provides information and membership features related to federal contract clause and flow-down determination. We may add, change, or remove features over time. We do not guarantee any particular result from using the Service.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to enter this agreement where you live, to create an account.

3. Payments, renewals, and refunds

The paid membership is $129 one-time. Payments are processed by Stripe. Unless clearly stated at checkout, a purchase is a one-time payment and does not renew automatically. If you believe you were charged in error, contact [email protected] within 14 days of the charge and we will review a refund in good faith. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable refund right you have under applicable law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

5. Intellectual property

The Service, its content, and its branding are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the Service except as allowed by law.

6. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties such as Stripe for payments and our email provider for transactional email. Their terms and privacy practices apply to those parts of the Service.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information it contains is accurate or complete.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims and costs arising from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide a prominent notice. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts located there will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.

13. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to [email protected].

14. The clause reference: reporting, not legal advice

MyFCExperts reports what the official federal contract clause matrix states for each contract type, and what each provision or clause says and where it is prescribed. It is a reference and reporting tool. It does not determine whether a particular contract or subcontract is compliant, whether a clause applies to your specific acquisition, or how a prescription should be read against your facts. Nothing on the Service is legal advice and your use of it does not create an attorney-client relationship. You should read the linked primary sources and consult a qualified professional about your own situation.

15. Data sources

The contract-type applicability grid shown on the Service is read from the official acquisition.gov Smart Matrix, which the Code of Federal Regulations names as the authoritative publication of the FAR matrix. Clause text, the provision-or-clause type, and the prescription are read from the eCFR API for Title 48 of the Code of Federal Regulations. The grid is refreshed on a nightly schedule and each page states the date and time of the last successful refresh. If a refresh fails, the Service keeps the last good data and shows a visible staleness notice. Regulatory source material is a work of the United States Government and is not subject to copyright protection in the United States.

Scope: This reference covers the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), 48 CFR chapter 1, including each Alternate, which is listed as its own row with its own prescribing section. The Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) is not included, because no official machine-readable DFARS matrix is published. Where a FAR clause title refers to the DFARS, that is the regulation quoting itself, not DFARS coverage.

Membership features

The clause reference — the contract-type applicability matrix and every flow-down view — is free to browse and needs no account. The paid membership adds two member-only features: saved contract profiles, each of which pins a contract type from the official matrix and is stored on your account, and the nightly clause-change feed and alert, an email digest plus a members-only feed of the changes the nightly refresh detects in the matrix and clause text. The membership does not change or restrict the free clause reference, and it is not legal advice.

Government non-affiliation

MyFCExperts is owned and operated by GCExperts LLC and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the U.S. government or any federal agency. MyFCExperts reports and links to public information; it is not a government service.
